MALAGA INDOOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL

HOUSE RULES

  1. COMPETITIONS – ALL COMPETITIONS WILL BE PLAYED UNDER THE INDOOR BEACH VOLLEYBALL FEDERATION OF WA INC RULE STRUCTURE.
  2. POINT SYSTEM – WIN = 4 POINTS / DRAW = 2 POINTS / LOSS = 1 POINT PER SET, PLUS 1 BONUS POINT FOR EVERY 10 POINTS SCORED (PER SET).
    IN THE EVENT THAT A TEAM PLAYS AN OPPOSITION TEAM FROM A DIFFERENT GRADE, BOTH TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED 15 POINTS FOR THEIR GAME, AND NO ADDITIONAL BONUS POINTS WILL APPLY.
    FORFEITS & NO SHOWS – NO POINTS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE FORFEIT TEAM/NO SHOW TEAM AND 15 POINTS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE OPPOSING TEAM.
  3. TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO CONTACT THE CENTRE 72 HOURS PRIOR TO FORFEIT THEIR GAME, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL INCUR THE REGULAR NIGHTLY TEAM FEE BEING CHARGED TO THE COMPETITION.
  4. MIXED TEAMS – IN A MIXED 6-A-SIDE COMPETITION, TEAMS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 3 PLAYERS, WITH AT LEAST 1 FEMALE ON THE COURT AT ALL TIMES, AND NO MORE THAN 3 MALES AT ALL TIMES, TO RECEIVE WIN POINTS FOR EACH SET.
  5. MENS 4-A-SIDE TEAMS – CANNOT HAVE ANYMORE THAN 2 FEMALES ON COURT AND 2 MALES ARE REQUIRED ON COURT AT ALL TIMES.
  6. FILL IN PLAYERS – A FILL IN PLAYER IS SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN APPOINTED BY THE MANAGEMENT / STAFF AND SHOULD BE RECORDED ON THE TEAM REGISTRATION SHEET BY THE TEAM.  IT IS THE TEAMS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL PLAYERS ARE REGISTERED ON THEIR TEAM CARD EACH WEEK.
  7. QUALIFICATION – ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE PLAYED, AND HAVE BEEN REGISTERED ON THE TEAM REGISTRATION CARD FOR A MIMIMUM OF 4 GAMES FOR THAT SEASON TO QUALIFY TO PLAY IN FINALS.
    THE 4 GAMES “MUST” BE PLAYED BEFORE THE COMMENCEMENT OF SEMI FINALS.
  8. PAYMENTS – NO INDIVIDUAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED !!!
    TEAMS MUST NOMINATE 1 PLAYER TO COLLECT THE FULL TEAM FEES AND COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION CARD FOR EACH GAME.
  9. ALL PLAYERS MALES/FEMALES MUST HAVE A SINGLET/T’SHIRT ON AT ALL TIMES WHILST ON COURT – NO PLAYERS ARE PERMITTED TO PLAY ON COURT SHIRTLESS !!!
  10. NO GLASS BOTTLES ARE PERMITTED IN THE CENTRE AT ALL TIMES !!!
  11. PARENTS – YOUR CHILDREN ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHILST IN THIS CENTRE
  12. NO ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED INSIDE THE CENTRE AT ALL TIMES.
  13. NO FOOD OR DRINK PERMITTED ON COURTS.
